Service Providers (ITSPs) and next generation telcos, enabling them to offer a full range of
services, including phone-to-phone voice and fax services and other value-added applications.
VDC BusinessTalkSM acts as an intermediary for the clearing and settling of VoIP traffic
and guarantees payment to all members. VDC offers termination in over 200 countries
through its member network.
The VDC BusinessTalkSM Global Clearinghouse allows service providers to enter and participate
in the highly profitable IP telephony market. A combination of the
VDC WorldTalkSM network, and partnerships with Cisco Systems and TransNexus
enables VDC BusinessTalkSM Global Clearinghouse members to offer competitive,
high-quality VoIP service to their subscribers, and take advantage of revenue opportunities
from the termination and origination of IP telephone calls.
VDC BusinessTalkSM handles authentication, authorization, route termination
selection, and the collection of Call Detail Records (CDRs). Service providers can leverage the
footprint of the network from a single gateway and a single agreement with VDC.
